I do not really believe that the Keystone state was really up for grabs. It is my experience that Democrats in the rust belt do not favor African-Americans enough to vote for Obama in the first place. Hillary hinted to this is the closing days of the primaries when Obama was having problems actually WINNING HIS CANDIDACY. Biden’s coal comments will only serve to give cover to the racists that are at home in the DNC. It is not a secret that Coal is one of the big industries in Pennsylvania. The new clean coal movement is seen as a first step in the greening of the energy industry, yet the left is not about to actually solve a domestic problem that serves them so well in demagoguery during elections. They no more care about alternate fuels than they do about the poor, their actions speak for them.

10. Pennsylvania has 23 coal-fired power plants.

Update: It looks like Obama is having trouble in Ohio as well. West Virginia is a must win – and they are a coal state. Biden needs a bigger shovel.
