Mccain

McCain-Palin are coming out swinging. It is about time, for too long they have allowed the corrupt forces in the media to ignore the dirty work that Obama has been doing. It is now time for them to fight back and make Obama earn the spot he has been given. It is a sad commentary on the left that they have allowed an unvetted and untested “speaker” to lead their party. They may not have questions about the judgments and sensibility of their leader, but if he wished to be President, than he will have to answer some questions from the rest of us.

McCain is not my first, third or eighth choice for candidate, but he is the one we got. One every issue is better than Obama, not always by as much as we would like but the difference is still there. This is part of a McCain release:

“To hear him talk now, you’d think he’d always opposed the dangerous practices at these institutions.  But there is absolutely nothing in his record to suggest he did.  He was surely familiar with the people who were creating this problem.  The executives of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have advised him, and he has taken their money for his campaign.  He has received more money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac than any other senator in history, with the exception of the chairman of the committee overseeing them.  Did he ever talk to the executives at Fannie and Freddie about these reckless loans?  Did he ever discuss with them the stronger oversight I proposed?  If Senator Obama is such a champion of financial regulation, why didn’t he support these regulations that could have prevented this crisis in the first place?  He won’t tell you, but you deserve an answer.”

McCain is right, Obama must begin to answer questions, we are far too close to the election to allow the empty platitudes of his campaign to replace substance and logic. Let us hope that McCain keeps the fire going.
