I must say that I have just finished reading the best corporate business book in my life. I work for a company that seems to govern themselves each year by a definitive book picked up in an airport business section, things like Lincoln on Leadership, The Fred Factor, or worse the horrid little book on choosing the “best people” on the bus and firing the ones that are free thinkers or cynics. Never have I read a book that expresses the need to be an individual that works solo or with like minded ensemble.
I Hate People is the most exciting find I have had in the genre, I noticed immediately that I was the soloist and People hater that they were writing about, as my time in corporate American shocks friends and family due to my direct and non-enjoyable demeanor towards those that do annoy me with their incompetence or worse. The book showed me concrete ways to expand my productivity as well as avoided some of the mental damaged caused by working with those that are working against you. I must say that this is a book that I will recommend to all of my friends in the corporate world as well, for if I see myself and struggles here, I am sure they will as well.
